SANTIAGO GESELL, AIA, NCARB

CEO & Founder Principal.

They say architecture is about 5 % Inspiration and 95 % Transpiration.

However, that 5% makes the very soul of a piece of Architectural Work.

Take that out, and you will have just a building.

For Santiago Gesell, the constant search for inspiration is as necessary as breathing. His career, like that of any architect, is composed of academic degrees, professional experience, and certifications; but what he considers the true engine behind it, is the abundant exposure to the inspiration he got from his childhood till today.

As a child, he absorbed, during countless family table talks, early lessons in Art, Science, History, Economics, Real Estate Development, and Construction: His father was a neurosurgeon, his mother an art lover, his grandfather, Carlos Gesell, developed Villa Gesell, the very town where he was born, and his great grand Father, Silvio Gesell, was the german economist whose monetary theory was chosen by Frank Lloyd Wright as the currency system to implement on his urban utopia Broadacres City. Talking about family anecdotes always triggered the elaboration of scientific concepts, philosophical ideas, timeless lessons from history, which so often seem to go in circles, and analyzing the causes and consequences of every day’s circumstances.

As for his formal professional path, in addition to his Architecture degree from the University of Buenos Aires, and both his Argentinean and American architecture licenses, his constant interest in understanding every aspect of a project made him sought studies in Real Estate and Construction Management, as well as getting a Nevada General Contractor Licence.

His professional experience focused on architectural design and construction management of projects for Dwelling, Hospitality, and Retail.

As you will be able to see on the Work section of this page, whenever given the possibility, he pushes for seamless integration of the Architecture with its exteriors, interiors, and deco design, giving back the users no room to experience inconsistencies or inharmonies throughout their projects.
